Look, this isn’t Philly. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get a delicious steak and cheese sandwich in this town. Walk in to Coppola’s Deli in Carytown and order their cheese steak ($7.99) to taste for yourself. This Richmond stalwart understands that great food requires great execution, evident in beef that’s perfectly browned but never dried out and provolone melting into the steak creating a savory amalgam tucked into a crusty, fresh sub roll.
