A message this morning from the Museum District Association:

With snowfall imminent, all of us in the Museum District are fortunate enough to be able to walk to many of the amenities and neccessities we may need that are in our neighborhood, from grocery stores, to restaurants, and even a movie theater!

However, snow can become dangerous and unsafe if left on the sidewalk. Please remember to be safe and clear a walkable path on the sidewalk in front of your house (and the side if you live on a corner).

According to the City Code, the path must be cleared on the sidewalk within six (6) hours after the snow ceases to fall, or by 11:00 a.m. the next day if the snow ends during the night. The city cautions that if someone is injured, you may be liable. Enjoy the snow and be safe when out and about!
