The Community Idea Stations invites you to join other Downton Abbey fans to watch the first hour of DOWNTON ABBEY, Season 4 on the big screen, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at The Byrd Theatre. Last year, our Byrd Theatre preview event was a full-house, with all 1,300 of The Byrd’s seats filled with fans of the show – many of them dressed in period attire. This year, we have added a 2nd showing to allow even more viewers to enjoy the fun. Hats, gloves and other fancy duds are once again encouraged. Plan to join us for either the 7pm OR the 9:30pm showing! Doors open at 6:30. Join the Facebook event page.

The Downton Abbey Preview Celebration on January 2nd will be the kick-off to The Community Idea Stations’ 50th Anniversary Year. The Community Idea Stations began serving the Richmond community in 1964 when we went on the air to provide teachers with educational video in the classroom.
