(April 1, 2009 Update: Richmond police have arrested a man in connection with the shooting of two people yesterday afternoon in the city’s North Side. Solly R. Robinson Jr., 30, of the 700 block of Rex Avenue, was arrested today and charged with conspiracy to commit murder for the shooting death of Everett Fairbanks Adams, who resided in the 2700 block of Midlothian Turnpike.)
On March 31, Richmond police report the following:
Richmond Police are in the early stages of a homicide investigation. Police were called to the 600 block of Henrico Boulevard at 2:22 p.m. for a report of a shooting. A male and a female were found with gunshot wounds. They were transported to VCU Medical Center with injuries that were considered life threatening. The man later died.
Investigators are looking for a gray Dodge Magnum that may have been involved in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS line at 514-TIPS (8477) or Crime Stopper at 780-1000.
