Any word on what happened to the power last night?
UPDATE
The Richmond Police Department is investigating the death of Kareem Shaquille Brown, 20, 3800 block of Tighe Court, Richmond. Brown was shot while driving a vehicle westbound on East Broad Street about 12:50 a.m. His vehicle crashed into two utility poles at the intersection of 17th and East Broad Streets. He died at the scene.
Two passengers in his vehicle were uninjured. They were questioned by detectives. One of the passengers was detained pending review of the case for possible charges by the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. The department is withholding his name until that review is complete.
A weapon has been recovered.
