The “new Cous Cous” will reopen on May 15 as a gay-oriented sports bar:

Davis also added that the lack of food sales in relation to alcohol sales may have been a reason for the shutdown, and the new restaurant will be geared more towards students and gay sports fans.

Casey Macklin, a fashion design graduate and self-proclaimed “huge Rams fan” frequented Cous Cous for drinks.

“I went a few times a month and whenever there were parties. The food was good, but I almost always went there to drink,” she said,

Macklin also said she would be visiting the new restaurant to see what the atmosphere will be like. “I’m really looking forward to Balls.”
