A new-to-Richmond fast food chain who found instant succes with a location near Regency Square is opening a location in Short Pump. The Times-Dispatch reported on Monday that CEO Jeremy Reaves is looking to open two new locations, one of them in Short Pump. A location has not yet been determined.

Unlike the existing location, which is drive-through only, the Far West End restaurant will feature a dining room with room for 100 customers. The North Carolina-based chain, which has 81 locations, opened over New Year’s Weekend off North Ridge Road and has attracted a steady crowd every day since at its first Virginia location.

Cook Out serves hamburgers, barbecue, hot dogs, chicken and almost 40 different varieties of milkshake flavors.

The chain hopes to have the Short Pump location open by the end of the year.
