The project to install a new pedestrian bridge over the Haxall Canal to Brown’s Island from the intersection of 5th and Tredegar streets is supposed to be completed by the end of September, but the canal has yet to be crossed by the prefabricated bridge.

If the bridge is on the premises, it was well-hidden. Renderings of the Foundry Park Bridge were made available in early August.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of September, in time for the Richmond Folk Festival, which is scheduled for the weekend of October 14-16. richmondfolkfestival.org
