For at least the 4th time, the all-way stops at Nansemond and Kensington are on the agenda for this Tuesday’s City Council meeting (PDF):
Ord. No. 2012-212 (Patron: Mr. Tyler) – To erect all-way stop signs and all-way flashing red lights at the intersection of North Nansemond Street and Kensington Avenue to replace the existing traffic regulations at that intersection.
Res. No. 2013-R128 (Patron: Mayor Jones) – To request the Commonwealth Transportation Board to establish the Floyd Avenue Bike Boulevard project to improve bicycle and pedestrian mobility on Floyd Avenue between North Thompson Street and North Laurel Street.
Council will also be voting on raising the rates at parking meters, and approximately 1,000,000 budget-related ordinances.
