Cats, Dogs Rescued From Chesterfield County Home
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA-Chesterfield County Animal Control Division is on the scene this afternoon at a home in the 4500 block of Treely Road, where approximately 50-60 cats and four dogs have been living in conditions described by Animal Control Manager Alice Berry as “cruelty and neglect.” The animals will be taken to the county’s animal shelter, where a veterinarian will assess their health and placement needs. The case is under investigation, and no charges have yet been filed.
