Cary Street man shot to death on the Southside

Yesterday, officers were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision in the 3900 block of Larchmont Lane on the Southside. When officers arrived two minutes later, they discovered the driver of one of the vehicles–Terrell Anderson, 33, of the 2000 block of W. Cary Street–had been shot to death.

At 11:10AM yesterday, officers were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision in the 3900 block of Larchmont Lane in Southside. When officers arrived two minutes later, they discovered the driver of one of the vehicles – Terrell Anderson, 33, of the 2000 block of West Cary Street – had been shot to death. The second vehicle, which was parked at the time, was unoccupied.

Officers quickly developed information that led them to detain a man spotted fleeing the scene. Demione Antione Stevens, 30, of the 2300 block of Halifax Avenue is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Even though an arrest has been made, Richmond Police detectives are asking anyone with additional information about this murder to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
