Here’s something that involves to great parts of Fan life: Six Burner Restaurant (at 1627 W. Main Street) and the Byrd House Market (Tuesday afternoons at Idlewood and Cherry Streets).

On Wednesday, June 22nd from 5:30-9:30 diners can receive a three course meal for $30 at Six Burner with proceeds going to the Byrd House Market, a program of the William Byrd Community House. Call (804) 353-4060 for reservations. And if you go, please tell us all about it. I’m not sure they’d be really excited about a seating of a family of five (including 3 pre-schoolers).
