Several new stores are opening at Short Pump Town Center in the coming month. According to the Times-Dispatch, lululemon athletica is opening a store on the lower level of the mall. The Vancouver-based retailer sells yoga-themed apparel in its 100 stores across Canada, the United States and Australia. This is the chain’s third Virginia location.

Massachusetts-based Yankee Candle Company is also opening a new store at Short Pump Town Center. The shop will open in the former Caribou Coffee location on the upper level, near Orvis and Saxon Shoes.

Destination Maternity, the world’s largest retailer of maternity apparel, is the third store announcing plans to come to the mall, opening a storefront on the upper level near Coconut Jewelry. The Philadelphia-based chain has almost 1,700 locations.

Just to the east of the mall, the list of new additions to fledgling mixed use development West Broad Village continues to grow.

Residents of West Broad Village, the village’s resident-run news website, reports that leasing negotiations are underway with a new Thai restaurant and jewelry store. The identity of the two tentative establishments could not yet be determined.
