Are there right and wrong places for food trucks?

I was riding up Main Street tonight and came across this food truck set up not 1/2 block away from Sticky Rice, Sticky Togogo, Pearl, Uptown Market and Deli, F.W. Sullivan’s, and Lady N’awlins.

Is it ok for food trucks to set up in established restaurant areas? Is this unfair mobile competition, or just another way for consumers to get yummy food?
