A message from Betsy Coffield, FDA President:
Several of you have written this past week about a person who has been going door to door in the Fan asking for contributions of clothing. This same person has also been spotted going through alleys and into back yards. He is described as an African American male, in his late 20’s or early 30’s, carries a trash bag with old clothing in it.
This individual has been reported to the police by several of you, but as of today, they have not yet questioned him.
In the event that he rings your doorbell, please do not answer, but instead, call the police and give them a description of the individual and and where you are located or where you saw him. We are hoping to stop this practice, and have the man questioned.
