VCU’s conference basketball games announced

On Wednesday morning, the Atlantic 10 Conference announced the games for the 2013-14 basketball season.

Wednesday morning, the Atlantic 10 Conference announced the games for the 2013-14 basketball season. Every team in the conference will play four home games, four road games, and four home-and-home meetings.

Home Games

• Duquesne
• George Mason
• St. Bonaventure
• Rhode Island
• Fordham
• George Washington
• Richmond
• Saint Louis

Away Games

• Dayton
• La Salle
• Saint Joseph’s
• Massachusetts
• Fordham
• George Washington
• Richmond
• Saint Louis

Bolded teams went to the 2013 NCAA Tournament.

The dates for the games will be announced later this summer. Since Butler departed, this season’s biggest games will likely be The Black & Blue Classic x2, Saint Louis-VCU x2, and George Mason-VCU. Last season the Ram’s schedule was backloaded and very difficult on the road. Given the depth of the A10 this season, this conference schedule is very balanced.
