UR looking for a new athletic director

Jim Miller, the long-time University of Richmond athletic director, will transition to a newly created position: “the assistant to the president for athletic advancement.”

Jim Miller, the long-time University of Richmond athletic director, will transition to a newly created position: “the assistant to the president for athletic advancement.” His new duties will include “athletic alumni relations and raising funds to address athletic priorities.”

Miller will retain athletic director duties until a replacement is hired. No word on a timeline for hiring his successor or possible candidates.

UR joins VCU in searching for a new athletic director; two months ago VCU’s AD, Norwood Teague, left for the University of Minnesota.
