Senior Troy Daniels will particpate in the 2013 REESE’S All-Star Game as part of the Final Four in Atlanta, Georgia. Daniels continues a tradition of participation for the Rams in the Final Four festivities dating back to VCU’s unexpected run from the First Four to the Final Fur in 2011.

Last season, Bradford Burgess participated in the event and finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and a steal in 23 minutes of action. Daniels will play on the Orange squad and will be joined by fellow Atlantic 10 players Kwamain Mitchell from Saint Louis and Ramon Galloway from La Salle.

“I’m really excited and appreciative to get this special opportunity. Being a part of Final Four week is alway special and to get this opportunity for a second time in my career is something that not a lot of players get a chance to do. I’m really appreciative of being a part of this event.” Troy Daniels

One of the greatest shooters in VCU history, Daniels holds the VCU single season record for 3-pointers (124), single game record for 3-pointers (11), and he ranks 2nd all time at VCU with 251 3-pointers.

The NABC REESE’S Colleg All-Star Game is set for Friday, April 5th at the Georgia Dome after the Final Four Team practices at 5:00 PM.
