Just one day after announcing that Richmond would host 2013’s summer training camp, the Washington Redskins’s traveling “Thank You Tour” will pass through the city this Saturday.
The tour will first convene at Kings Dominion from 11am to 1pm, where one attendee will win a roller coaster ride with one of the traveling Redskins players–DeAngelo Hall, Brandon Banks, Kevin Barnes, and Brandyn Thompson are expected to be in attendance. Fans interested in winning the roller coaster ride should text “Redskins” to 74674 to enter. Kings Dominion will announce the winner on their Facebook page later this week.
The second event will take place at the Richmond Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival from 2-4pm. No special events or activities are scheduled.
The “Thank You Tour” supplements a year-long celebration of the franchise’s 80th anniversary. Traveling to locations across the state, the tour features current players, former players, and cheerleaders.
