Last year the Richmond Kickers hosted BPL (Barclay’s Premier League) team Crystal Palace in widely successfully (in attendance not score line) friendly soccer match. This year the hometown will be facing West Bromwich Albion on July 19th at City Stadium.

West Bromwich Albion commonly referred to as the Baggies were established in 1878 and are currently ranked 13th in the Barclays Premier League standings with a 10-15-10 record and 40 points. They did raise a few eyebrows recently by getting a draw from Liverpool and beating Manchester United. The match in Richmond will be the last stop in a 10-day, three-game East Coast tour.

Tickets for exhibition match will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, May 13 following a five-day private pre-sale for eligible Richmond Kickers Season Ticket Holders, sponsors and youth club members. General Admission tickets are $30-$45 and will be available for purchase exclusively at RichmondKickers.com and select ticket outlets. The game is likely to sell out so if you want to see a BPL team in the up close confines of City Stadium don’t wait too long.
