Sign up for Richmond Little League

Hey, Richmond kids! Batter up!

Now that the holidays are (mostly) behind us, it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to keep those kiddos occupied come spring.

Richmond Little League spring sign-ups are currently open and underway for Richmond-area boys and girls ages 5 to 16. Levels of play are as follows:

  • Tee ball: ages 5 and 6
  • Machine pitch: ages 7 and 8
  • Minors: ages 9 and 10 (and some 11-year-olds)
  • Majors: ages 11 and 12 (and some 13-year-olds)
  • Juniors: ages 13 and 14
  • Seniors: ages 15 and 16

For spring baseball, your child’s league age is his or her age as of April 30th on the year of play. Your child must live or attend a school within the boundaries of Richmond Little League to play.

Registration is $95 for baseball and $70 for tee ball; help with the registration cost is available upon Board approval. Richmond Little League provides team jerseys and caps, but the kids will need to bring their own pants, athletic shoes, and gloves.

For more information–including practice and play schedules and how to register online–visit Richmond Little League’s website. Registration for machine pitch, minors, and majors closes February 6th; tee ball on February 27th; and juniors and seniors on March 20th. The season starts on March 29th.
