Ride or run the 2015 UCI Road World Championships course

“Imagine getting the chance to play Augusta the day before The Masters or Centre Court during Wimbledon’s fortnight,” said Tim Miller, chief operating officer of Richmond 2015.

In September the 2015 UCI Road World Championships will hit the streets of Richmond. Cyclist from around the world will take on a course that winds from the flat asphalt of Monument Avenue to the cobblestones and heights of Libby Hill.

You could ride or run the course right now but you’ll spend much of your time dodging traffic and waiting at lights. If you’re willing to lay out a little cash ($115 – $135) you could ride or run it at night after the day’s races.

On Thursday, September 24th starting at 7:00 PM runners will take on the course. Then the following night, September 25th the cyclists will get their crack at the championship circuit. The riding event is limited to 2,015 entrants.

“Imagine getting the chance to play Augusta the day before The Masters or Centre Court during Wimbledon’s fortnight,” said Tim Miller, chief operating officer of Richmond 2015. “This truly is a unique opportunity for riders and runners to test themselves on the same course that will challenge the world’s best cyclists.”
