Restaurant openings and closings in April 2016

Sandwiches, biscuits, and tacos—all you need to survive.

The Reign

3001 W. Clay Street

Sandwiches from the King of Pops! Because there are other things you can eat without utensils! The menu is small, but that’s because you’d probably explode with a million sandwich choices AND a bunch of pop choices. Choose from various meat’n’cheeses, grilled cheese, and…that’s about it!

The FANcy Biscuit

1831 W. Cary Street

It’s biscuits, but it’s more than biscuits. It’s a bunch of big breakfast/lunch meals made OUT of biscuits, too. And, bonus, it’s close to our office. That’s just a bonus for us, but our glee about it must be expressed. The FANcy Biscuit is finally here, after many months of waiting. They don’t quite have their menu up online, but you can still look at some photos and drool your way over there for some buttery carbs–the best kind.

Amigo’s

1808 Staples Mill Road

I’ll admit, I have never been to El Toro Loco, and my life wasn’t much altered when it closed last year. But I do know that Amigo’s is well-liked in Chesterfield, and I have no reason to believe that Mexican-food lovers of Richmond will not follow suit and like the heck out of this restaurant, which fills the former’s space.
