In Part 2 of Coach Shaka Smart In His Own Words, you will learn more about Shaka Smart; the man. He talks about his favorite music, his feeling on becoming a new dad, and the best advice he has ever received. His words are direct and unedited. It is clear that Coach Smart places a premium on his family, his players, VCU and the city of Richmond. He expects to be successful, but at the same time remands hungry and humble. The new VCU basketball season is right around the corner, and with it, the pursuit of another dream season. While it is inevitable that many Rams fans will be looking back to reflect on last year’s magical Final Four run, one man that will be looking straight ahead is Coach Smart. My guess is that he expects to do it again and I’d be hesitant to bet against him.
