Registration is still going for the 2nd Annual U.S. Army 3 on 3 Summer Hoops, taking place on July 25th and 26th at Innsbrook Office Park.

A few specifics on how things will be broken down:

  • There will be an Adult division with male, female, and co-ed teams as well as an Elite division for the top male and female teams.
  • Co-ed teams must have one player of each sex on the court at all times.
  • There will be Youth (grades 3-8) and High School (grades 9-12) divisions.
  • Teams will be bracketed based on team entry form information, including age/grade and playing experience.

The two-day event will also include free-throw, 3-point shooting, and dribbling competitions, as well as music, food, and giveaways. Adult entries cost $100, high school and youth entries are $80. BUT, admission to watch the tournaments is free.

And just as an FYI:

In keeping with its community event identity, good sportsmanship will be strictly enforced at the U.S. Army 3 on 3 Summer Hoops. Competitive games are encouraged, but profanity and taunting will result in immediate action.

I wouldn’t mess with them. They ARE the ARMY.

Registration ends at 11:59pm on July 21st.
