Kickers at home tonight for final pre-season game

It’s time for a bit of footie.

The Richmond Kickers regular season starts on March 26th against the Harrisburg City Islanders but you can see them in action tonight at City Stadium. At 7:00 PM the Kickers will take on the Carolina Railhawks of the NASL in their final warm-up.

The two teams meet last week in what’s been described a chippy affair and even saw the referee reach into his back pocket for the dreaded red card. The red was given to a Railhawks player and since it was pre-season the game continued on with the regular 11 v 11. Kickers ended up winning by a score of 1-0.

Tickets for tonight’s game are $10 and can be purchased online or at the gate. This game is included in Season Ticket holders package. It’s a great chance to see how the team is shaping up and a glimpse into the upcoming season.
