Help out the Armstrong Softball Team
Play Ball. Hopefully.
In the daily deluge of city budget wrangling and finger pointing it’s easy to forget that our local schools are full of kids that just want to play a game.
The Armstrong softball team is one such group and they’ve turned to IndieGoGo to raise $500 for hoodies and a few meals. If you can, go here and give a few bucks.
The Story
The call has gone out to Armstrong Wildcats Athletics group for help in supporting the Armstrong Softball team.Coach Glenn Anderson says, “We are in need of sponsorships [for] pre-game meals and purchase of hoodies for the players. Any assistance in these areas will be very appreciated.
It will take approximately $100 to feed the team of 20 for a given game. The price per hoody is approximately $18 ($360 outfits the whole squad).
We would like to raise at least $500 towards a set of hoodies and a meal for the young ladies.
