Looks like a good time… Glad to see the people of Richmond are showing support for this team.
I noticed in the 6th picture the sign for “The Nutshack Club”.
I’m laughing about this because I’m twelve.
& I took that photo ’cause I’m twelve :)
The game was awesome, but the beer and food lines were horrible! I waited an hour for beer in the EXPRESS LINE!
I also downloaded the Flying Squirrels iPhone app which is pretty good. A nice way to stay up to date with the team.
And because I’m twelve, I had to look at #6 twice, because I was sure it said something else…
The lines were terrible I agree! At the same time, it’s hard to blame the organization – I don’t know where else in that stadium they could cram in more food vendors, since there’s no outfield concourse. And everyone in the lines was so happy to have baseball again that it was kind of fun to chat.
The only line that I was actually ANNOYED about was the Will Call line. Why did the Will Call people argue with everyone?! It took forever for anyone to get through there because they felt the need to be confrontational rather than helpful.
Overall though there’s one thing that no one’s talking about that I LOVED about the game (although I didn’t watch much of it because of all the funn) – the BASEBALL! There was plenty of talent on display last night in an error-free ballgame.
Dang. That juggalo guy has a double chin on the back of his neck. D:
To the 12-year old commenter, I’ll see your photo #6 and raise you this play on words: My husband wants there to be a Flying Squirrels fan club with the slogan, “Show us you’re nuts!”
I’ve uploaded more photos from last night, including this one:
Nutzy is the best mascot in the universe. He was UNFLAGGING in his desire to spread funn.
