Aaron Corp, guys, Aaron Corp.

The Spiders definitely have a guy who can play, unfortunately it wasn’t enough to bring home the victory on Saturday. Even with the 45-43 loss there were still a bunch of positive takeaways!

Like I keep saying, this guy can “ball.” Unfortunately for the Spiders, there wasn’t quite enough ball available on Saturday to bring home the victory, but check out the dude’s stat line: 35-50, 351 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions (that were on tipped passes). He completed nine straight to open the game. Every week he gets better. Plus, he’s found a go-to guy in Tre Gray who had 16 catches for 194 yards.

Unfortunately those two interceptions, both on tipped passes, were returned for touchdowns. With a final score of 45-43 Spider fans probably want those fourteen points back.

Also, while digging through the box score I noticed that Richmond used two punters in this game–Casey Dobyns and Nick Hicks. Looking back at the previous box scores, the Spiders have been rotating punters a lot this season. Anyone know why?
