4th annual VWM 5K Run/Walk to Remember on Saturday, April 18th

Run to honor those that are gone.

The 4th annual VWM 5K Run/Walk to Remember is hitting the streets on Saturday, April 18th at 8:00 AM. It’s an opportunity for civilians to run or walk amongst active duty military units often running in full uniform and formation. Sponsored American flags line the last few yards to honor and remember those military members that have died.

This annual event features a scenic 5K route that winds through historic Hollywood Cemetery and surrounding roads, with a scenic backdrop of the Virginia War Memorial, James River and the River City skyline. All proceeds go to fund the Virginia War Memorial educational programs.
