Father of UVA tight end killed in Alaska plane crash

CBS Sports is reporting that the father of TE Colter Philips (So.) was among the fatalities in the recent airplane crash that also killed former Senator Ted Stevens. Philips played in five games last year as a true freshman and ended the season with 5 receptions for 34 yards.
