A former Auburn commit, Heath Houston struggled to realize his true potential during his freshman campaign. Coach Smart had high praise for his play during summer practices, but a foot injury cut the red-shirt freshman’s preseason short. When Houston finally saw minutes, he never played enough possessions to build momentum. A right knee injury that required surgery finally sidelined #24 for the final 18 games of the season.
