Woodland Heights food truck court line-up

Dinner and a movie is a great way to spend a Friday night.

Can you believe it’s the end of August? Come celebrate (should we celebrate?) with food, fellowship, and a free classic movie! After the Food Trucks shut down around 8:30, we will show “Cinderella” in the church parking lot with free popcorn and lemonade. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket—no “wicked stepmothers” allowed, but good luck finding a glass slipper.

Join us Friday night in the Woodland Heights Baptist Church parking lot (611 W. 31st St.). Come set up at a table, or bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs and spread out on the lawn…or grab your dinner to go… The Food Trucks will open for business at 5:30 and remain until 8:30

Here are the trucks scheduled for August 28:

  • Boardwalk – “Best Hot Dog on Wheels”
  • Coco Bans to Go – Delectable Caribbean food with layers of flavor and smiles with every bite.
  • Goatacado – “fresh and healthy options…with color and life and energy”
The Hungry Turtle – Serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine and Asian fusion including banh mi sandwiches, egg rolls, Pho sliders and tacos.

… and for dessert …

  • Polar Roller – We have taken great care to make sure that the fun you experience in your favorite local fro-yo shop has been preserved in our mobile atmosphere.

It’s always a great time at Food Truck Fridays! Remember the basket to help our neighborhood Food Closet—help always needed, and always appreciated!
