Wine & Beer Classic at Maymont
Fourteen breweries to enjoy in a beautiful setting.
On Friday, September 12th you’ve got the chance the hang out in the Maymont Children’s Farm and drink beer and not get in trouble at the annual Wine & Beer Classic, presented by the Dooley Noted Society.
Not only do you get to try unlimited samples of beer and wine, you can do it while Jubeus, a Richmond roots rock band, plays on. There is also open cornhole play offered by BeSocial Richmond, other games, cocktail raffle for a chance to win a home beer brewing kit and two tickets to the Richmond Beeristoric Tour. This will cost you a bit extra but who doesn’t want a home beer brewing kit?
The 14 participating breweries this year are Ardent Craft Ales, Bold Rock Hard Cider, Center of the Universe Brewing Co., Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, Isley Brewing Co., Legend Brewery, Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery, Lost Rhino Brewing Co., Midnight Brewery, Rusty Beaver Brewery, Smartmouth Brewing Co., Strangeways Brewing, Triple Crossing Brewery Co., and Wild Wolf Brewery Co.
Tickets are $35 per person; $30 for Dooley Noted Society members; and $15 for designated drivers. Guests must be 21 years old or older to attend. Tickets may be purchased online.
