Westover Hills Boulevard resident killed in fatal accident on Park Drive
At approximately 7:25 p.m., a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driving northbound on Park Drive crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2002 Honda Accord traveling southbound.

The Richmond Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred yesterday evening in the 2600 block of Park Drive.
At approximately 7:25 p.m., a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driving northbound on Park Drive crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2002 Honda Accord traveling southbound.
The driver and one passenger in the Honda were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A second passenger, Helene V. Day, 71, of the 1500 block of Westover Hills Boulevard, suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the hospital.
The RPD Crash Team responded to the scene, where they took measurements and interviewed witnesses. Both vehicles are being processed by RPD investigators.
Charges are expected following consultation with the Commonwealth Attorney.
