VCU students plan Hands Up Walkout today in memory of Mike Brown
Students will be meeting in the Compass.
From Facebook we’re alerted to a planned VCU student walkout to take place at 1:01 PM as of 10:50 AM there were 131 that stated they were attending. This is part of a larger effort and according to the #HandsUpWalkOut hashtag more than 30 campuses will be taking part.

Anyone in or near VCU should walk out if there respective locations and meet in the Compass. There we will have a 4.5 minute die-in to represent the 4.5 hours Mike Brown’s was left in the street. Come stand in Solidarity if you’re not willing to participate in the die in. Bring signs, bring yourself, bring your friends. #NoJusticeNoPeace
