VCU student dies in fall from elevated railroad tracks
The accident occurred late on Halloween night.

Benjamin G. Sykes, 25, died after he fell from elevated railroad tracks Friday night, according to Richmond police. Christopher J. Ducic, 21, was found unconscious early Sunday on Canal Street.
Sykes was a first-year student in the School of Dentistry from Centreville. Rowland said police were called about 11:55 p.m. Friday to S. 14th and Dock streets for a report of a person walking on the tracks. Within minutes, witnesses reported the man had fallen.
