VCU Police officer arrested for allegedly distributing child pornography
A VCU Police officer was taken into custody by both FBI and Richmond Police for the alleged distribution of child pornography.
Sgt. James DeFord of the VCU Police was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with two counts of distribution of child pornography. The FBI and Richmond Police made the arrest.
VCU leadership immediately suspended the officer, according to VCU Police Chief John Venuti. DeFord was promoted to Sergeant this past May. VCU Police are continuing to work with the FBI and Richmond Police.

this officer is a nice guy, unlike a lot of other officers in that department. such a shame.
whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?
