Two seperate cases, police searching for missing woman and missing man

Missing Woman Sought

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Rosemary Liga. Her photo is attached.

Liga, 45, who also goes by “Rachel Mack,” was last seen on May 8 getting into a taxi at the Sunrise Motel in the 3600 Jefferson Davis Highway. She was headed to the Greyhound Bus Station located at 2910 N. Boulevard. She is known to frequent the southside area of Richmond.

She is described as a black female, 5’6” tall, with black hair and brown eyes, who weighs approximately 160 pounds.

Anyone who sees Rosemary Liga or has information on her whereabouts is asked to call Major Crimes Detective William Thompson at (804) 646-3925 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.

Case 2:

Missing Man Sought

The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Lander S. Freeman. His photo is attached.

Freeman, 73, was last seen on June 6 in the 1500 block of Silver Avenue after leaving his home to walk to Kings Market. His walking stick was found on the porch of a friend’s home in the 1400 block of Silver Avenue.

Freeman never returned home and is believed to be endangered.

He is described as a black male, 6’1” tall, with a medium complexion, weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has an injury to one eye. He was last seen wearing an “Obama” coat with fur around the hood, green pants and a black fedora-type hat.
