Two armed robberies in East End

The two incidents were part of four armed robberies that occurred in Richmond last night.

From the Richmond Times-Dispatch:

The first two were reported at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, one in the 600 block of North 22nd Street in the East End and the other in the 1600 block of Skilift Lane in South Richmond.

The 22nd Street suspect, armed with a small knife, forcibly took a purse from a woman before a neighbor saw the encounter and yelled, prompting the suspect to flee on foot. The suspect was described as a black male, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall with an average build.
