Toddlers found wandering around construction site

The incident occurred on Sunday and as of Monday no charges have been filed against the parents.

From NBC12:

Child Protective Services investigation is underway in Richmond, after two young children were found wandering around alone in a construction site.

According to the Richmond Police Department, the call came in from Bliley Road mid-morning on Sunday. A neighbor reportedly saw two young toddlers wandering around the construction site for Ryan Homes.

People working in the area talked to that neighbor and said she ran over to the site and pulled the toddlers out of a mud puddle where they seemed to be playing. She then contacted police. Officers scoured the area and were able to track down the toddlers’ parents at home around the corner.
