Thieves hit the Westover Hills neighborhood hard over the weekend
Keep an eye out for people stealing from cars.
It started with one post on the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association Facebook page about a computer, camera and camera gear stolen from an unlocked car. The empty camera bag was later recovered near Forest Hill Park.
It quickly became apparent that this wasn’t an isolated incident.
- At least three cars were broken into on the 5400 block of Dorchester
- Garage on Caledonia was robbed of several mountain bikes address unknown
- Car rummaged through into on 5300 block of Caledonia, care was unlocked due to the age of the vehicle
- Earlier in the week a car on Sylvan Road
- Home on Sylvan was hit as well, address and time of incident unknown but assume it was over the weekend
