Suspects sought in convenience store robberies

Detectives believe the pair also robbed the FasMart Convenience Store, located at 2107 Semmes Ave., at approximately 12:36 a.m. on Friday, March 27.

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the two suspects in the photo above who detectives believe robbed two convenience stores in the last week. They are suspected of robbing one store twice in that span.

Last night at approximately 10:44 p.m., the suspects entered the Four Corners Express at 415 East Broad Rock Road, brandished a handgun and robbed the employee. They are suspected of robbing the same store at approximately 9:39 p.m. Tuesday, March 24.

Detectives believe the pair also robbed the FasMart Convenience Store, located at 2107 Semmes Ave., at approximately 12:36 a.m. on Friday, March 27.

There were no injuries.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, 5’6”, with a thin build. The second is described as a black male, 5’6”, with a stocky build.

They were seen leaving the area in a white vehicle, possibly a Buick or Oldsmobile.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about these suspects to call Third Precinct Detective William Cutshall at (804) 646-1068 or Second Precinct Detective Derrick Longoria at (804) 646-8171. Citizens can also call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
