Suspected home intruder killed
Incident occurred on Monday morning.
A suspected home invasion in Highland Park on Monday left an intruder dead of stab wounds and a homeowner injured, according to Richmond police.
Police responded to the 2200 block of Third Avenue a little after 10 a.m. and found two men with stab wounds, Lt. Michael Bender said.
Both were taken to VCU Medical Center, where the suspected intruder later died, police said.
Police are not looking for any additional suspects, Bender said, but are continuing to investigate the incident.
