The header on Sugar Shack’s website was a bit more prophetic then need be last night. Through the miracle that is social media the public found out within minutes last night that the Sugar Shack on Lombardy was robbed.

The first Facebook post was sent out around 8:45 PM last night.

We just got robbed by a mid 20s make who is currently hiding in VUU campus. Cash reward if someone knows him. Police are searching campus now.

If you want a lesson in crazy Facebook comment read through the whole thread, they run the gamut from supportive to accusatory to a bit crazy.

Later they posted this with a better description of the suspect and update.

Ok so everyone is ok. The staff is more angry than anything so least they have some good humor. We did not catch him, but hes a middle-eastern male, about 23 years old, with a red shirt and a bright ballcap. He was chased into VUU around 9 but campus police couldn’t find him either. If anyone knows him or anything please let us know. Thanks everyone for the support!
