Sports Backers, Bike Walk RVA hosting ‘Bike Walk Talk’ happy hours across Henrico
Take part in one of four meetings to discuss how Henrico County can become a more bikeable and walkable community.
Inspired by the progress made by the City of Richmond and Chesterfield County towards making their localities more bike friendly, Richmond Sports Backers’ Max Hepp-Buchanan is taking the discussion to Henrico County.
“Over the last few years, we’ve seen the City of Richmond and Chesterfield County take huge steps toward becoming walkable, bikeable localities, and it’s time for us to help Henrico County get rolling as well,” he said in an email. “That’s why we’re hosting informal ‘Bike Walk Talk’ happy hours throughout Henrico County over the next month.”
Hepp-Buchanan is the director of Bike Walk RVA, one of the major backers of the Bike Boulevard project on Floyd Avenue that’s currently under construction.
If you’d like to take part in the discussions, RSVP for one of the upcoming happy hours nearest to you:
- February 10th at Capital Ale House in Innsbrook (UPDATE: This event is now at capacity)
- February 11th at Final Gravity Brewing Company in Lakeside
- February 17th at The Answer Brewpub in the Near West End
- February 24th at Carini Italian Restaurant in the East End
