Shooting at Byron and/or Jeter

Shooting occurred at 1:22 PM Monday.

From the Henrico Police. It’s worth noting that as you can see from the map above that Byron and Jeter don’t cross.

At approximately 1:22 PM on Monday, October 27, 2014, officers responded to the intersection of Byron Street and Jeter Street for a shooting call for service. Officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to VCU Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.

Detectives and Forensic Personnel are on scene, and an investigation is ongoing. There is no suspect information available for release.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
