Shockoe restaurant shuffle
Sweet Tea’s should be moved within a month and a new restaurant springing up in it’s place.
Here’s the quick version. Sweet Teas (1800 E Main Street) is doing great so they’re moving down the block to the old Arcadia space (1700 E Main Street). In the old Sweet Teas space a new Caribbean and African concept called Joanna’s headed by Chef Lloyd Johnson of Island Bistro. All this is happening under the direction of Lewis and Tatia Asare who you also know from Crush (1810 E Main Street) that replaced Cafe Verde. Got it?
