Search is on for man last seen in Shockoe Bottom

Have you seen Randall?

Richmond police are asking for the public’s help finding a 24-year-old Randall William Collins, of the 1500 block of N. 20th Street, who was last spotted leaving the Canal Club late Saturday night on April 5. NBC12 is reporting that he was intoxicated but relatives are concerned he may have been suffering a seizure.

Deondra says Randall needs help in controlling his drinking. She says alcohol leads him to frightening seizures.

“[He] blacks out. He starts shaking really badly,” described Collins of the seizures, which could potentially be deadly.

Canal Cub staff members describe Randall as highly intoxicated.

“He had passed out inside of the club. So, security had to get him up and get him out of the club,” continued Deondra.

A Canal Club manager says Randall was ushered out of the club. Security guards then watched him trail a group of people heading east down Dock Street. Another witness reported he saw Randall get into a car with other men. However, no one can say for sure where Randall went, or with whom.

“If he had a seizure somewhere, he could be in an abandoned building anywhere in Richmond and dead,” said Deondra. “Everybody’s really been on edge, pretty much scared to find out.”

Collins, who lives on the 1500 block of North 20th Street, is a black male, 5’ 8” tall, 150 pounds. He has tattoos on both hands and one on his right arm that reads, “Randall.”
