Saturday Circus at the Sugar Pad

Join in the fun on Saturday, October 18th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.

Saturday Circus at the Sugar Pad is a Celebration of Richmond Circus Artists while raising the awareness of the Sugar Pad (Intermediate Terminal, 3101 Wharf Street). Host of Sparrows will do continuous demonstrations in Lyra, Trapeze, Aerial Silks, Partner Acrobatics and Juggling. You can get in the act as well, bring your acroyoga, hoops, unicycle, devil sticks, flow apparatuses, unicycles, stilts, clown faces, costumes, flea circus, or what ever you have to play with or just your smile and join the Circus celebration.

If you have a special act you want to draw attention to contact the organizers on Facebook. They’ll work with you to get put on the schedule and help you if you need any equipment and/or assistance. LED and Fire Flow Arts are needed and would take the stage aka “the Pad” around 7:00 PM.

Donations will collected to buy the outdoor aerial rig that is being rented for the event.
